My focus tends to be on the functional with platters, plates and bowls either wheel thrown, or hand formed. I enjoy making and decorating bowls either tiny and fragile to sit on a dresser or large enough to sit comfortably on the floor.

My slip cast pieces are decorated with trailed slip patterns or are hand painted in underglaze colours. My wheel thrown pieces are larger and usually have an added feature to indicate an Asian influence.

I have been a member of Newcastle Studio Potter’s Inc. since 1995, a committee member continuously since 1997.
